Greetings Cards from my own designs
My work has been featured in various magazines and papers, most recently in our local newspaper, Stroud Life. Stanley Gibbons Stamp Monthly and The American Philatelist, Stroud News and Journal and The Gloucester Citizen have also covered interesting stories and included some of my stamp collage pictures over the last 12 months. I'm often asked where people can purchase cards and the answer to this is that you can e mail me direct or visit my studio to see the complete range during the forthcoming Open Studios Festival in Stroud (Site 13) which will be on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th and Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May from 10.30 until 6 pm. My cards are also on sale in Made in Stroud in the centre of Stroud itself. Torbay Stamp centre have some on show too, as does the Taunton Stamp shop on Bridge Street, Taunton. Please check their hours of opening as these do tend to vary. Ten designs are also currently available to purchase on ebay on UPA's pages (just google Rachel Markwick Stamp collage cards and you will find them easily!)and you can use paypal in this case.

Stamp Collage Exhibition at Pegasus Art Shop
The Private view of my exhibition, Stamping Ground, was well attended and original work, limited edition prints and greetings cards sold well. Pictures still on show at the exhibition until 20th November and some pictures still available to buy from Pegasus Art Shop, which is open from Monday to Saturday 9 - 5 and the address is: Pegasus Art Shop, Griffin Mill, London Road, Thrupp Gloucestershire GL5 2AZ.
Most of the pictures are available as cards and prints (some limited editions) as well but direct from me via this website/email as it's not practical for Pegasus to deal with card or unframed print sales for my work from their shop premises.
The Colosseum shown on the poster will shortly be going to a new home, and three ships also went sailing by! I've also been commissioned to make a picture for a wedding present which I will enjoy doing! It's great to meet new people at events such as this and to talk about my work and the background to how it all started.

Made in Stroud Shop, Stroud, Gloucestershire

Just delivered new stock of cards to the shop today, including my latest Union Jack stamp collage which celebrates the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. It incorporates many stamps issued during her reign, with a beautiful photo portrait of her in the centre. Cards £3 each and there is also a canvas print which is A3 (30 x 40 cms approx) at £70. New card designs also available from the shop including three new garden themed designs and the French flag, also available as a canvas print - I think they have a retro/vintage feel about them!
The Made in Stroud shop has a great selection of locally made items including cards, ceramics. jewellery, pictures, textiles, decorative items and more all very reasonably priced.
